Asala Association launches tasting campaign for its members' products

The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association, Asala, launched a tasting campaign for food products of their entrepreneurial members in Ramallah & Al-Bireh, the first of its kind in its promotional activities for their projects, which comes as a continuation of Asala's work to increase women's opportunities to access to markets and increase their income.

This campaign aims to introduce customers in the city of Ramallah to the products of the association's members, as well as, provide them with information regarding sales point that they can obtain the products from.

This campaign aims to introduce customers in the city of Ramallah to the products of the association's members, as well as, provide them with information regarding sales point that they can obtain the products from.

This activity is one of the activities through which Asala works to market women's products, with the aim to help make these projects successful, which are often considered a major source of livelihood for families, in addition to contributing to women's economic empowerment.”

Ayah Awad, the Officer of the Access to Markets program, noted that the campaign targets four types of products, obtained from members of the association, in addition Mrs. Awad stated that a contract was signed with Wheels to distribute taste samples (224 samples per week) with meals ordered from restaurants, delivered by the company.

It is noteworthy that this campaign comes as part of the " Ghalleh" project which is implemented by Union Aid Abroad - APHEDA, in partnership with Bethlehem University - Institute for Community Partnership (ICP), ASALA - Palestinian Businesswomen's Association and MA'AN Development Center, supported by the Australian Government within the Australian aid initiative made possible through the Australia Middle East NGO Cooperation Agreement Program - Phase three (AMENCA 3).
