ASALA implements awareness sessions in number of governorates in West Bank
The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association “ASALA” implemented a number of awareness sessions in different areas of the West Bank (Bethlehem, Hebron, Jenin, Ramallah), which aims to enhance the economic empowerment of women who are micro-entrepreneurs.
The sessions addressed the importance of small projects on the Palestinian economy and the importance of supporting them to transfer their informal projects to formal projects, as well as the importance of providing specialized training for women and young women in TVET to develop their skills and abilities to lead projects and ASALA will also continue to implement the sessions over the coming weeks.
These sessions come under the project of “Creating Economic Opportunities for Women and Young Women in the West Bank,” GROW which is implemented by CowaterSogema company and funded by the Government of Canada.
