ASALA discusses forming coalition to support “Promote Women’s Active Participation in the Chambers of Commerce” campaign

The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association “ASALA” held yesterday a meeting that included a number of women's corporations, civil society institution and the Ministry of National Economy to discuss forming a coalition to support “Promote Women’s Active Participation in the Chambers of Commerce” campaign .

 This coalition comes within a campaign by ASALA to support the women’s presence in the chambers of commerce, which has been completed by drafting a policy paper that will present a set of recommendations to be adopted by the coalition with a view to mobilizing and unifying efforts to meet the demands of this paper. Amendments on the system of the chambers of commerce to accommodate the small businesses owners which the women are the majority of them.

The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association “ASALA” held yesterday a meeting that included a number of women's corporations, civil society institution and the Ministry of National Economy to discuss forming a coalition to support “Promote Women’s Active Participation in the Chambers of Commerce” campaign .

This campaign comes under the project of “Creating Economic Opportunities for Women and Young Women in the West Bank,” GROW which is implemented by CowaterSogema company and funded by the Government of Canada.
