The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association "ASALA" met the Minister of National Economy Dr. Khalid Al-Asaily to discuss the cooperation between the two parts regarding the national campaign which is implemented by ASALA and aims at promoting participation of the businesswomen in the upcoming Chambers of Commerce elections, as it is important to empower women and reach their voice.

 The panelists discussed the most important recommendations of the campaign policy paper, and creating a quota was one of them. The Minster welcomed this recommendation and confirmed the importance of quota for all elections, and he mentioned the role of women in managing the economic projects in Palestine and their ability to advance the national economy.
