The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association - Asala, the Palestinian partner in the MedBEESinessHubs project, implemented training on cluster formations in the beekeeping sector in the West Bank region.

The training targets 16 Palestinian beekeepers in the West Bank and conducted over two days in Ramallah on the 25th and 26th as part of the "Mediterranean Bee Hubs in support for sustainable economic prosperity in deprived rural areas" - MedBEESinessHubs project, which is being implemented in five countries: Palestine, Cyprus, Egypt, Italy, and Lebanon.

The Palestinian Businesswomen’s Association - Asala, the Palestinian partner in the MedBEESinessHubs project, implemented training on cluster formations in the beekeeping sector in the West Bank region.

The training targets 16 Palestinian beekeepers in the West Bank and conducted over two days in Ramallah on the 25th and 26th as part of the "Mediterranean Bee Hubs in support for sustainable economic prosperity in deprived rural areas" - MedBEESinessHubs project, which is being implemented in five countries: Palestine, Cyprus, Egypt, Italy, and Lebanon.

The training focused on introducing beekeepers to cluster formations, explaining the reasons for its choosing and the actual concept, as well as providing an overview of created cluster maps. It also included clarification of examples of cluster formations in the region, and the strategy that will be implemented. Additionally, participants were provided with information on the benefits of their projects and assessment of the feasibility of creating local cluster formations in the beekeeping sector, as well as cluster organization, development, and the methodology followed for that.

Fidaa Abdelrazaq, one of the participants in the training said “This training in clustering and eco routes to create communities for beekeepers, helped us discover how to use the available data to understand our nature and surroundings and provide us with an overview of creating cluster maps. I can say that this training is one of the fruitful trainings."
