Karmel Najjar

She is in charge of monitoring and evaluating Asala’s interventions and projects focused on women’s social and economic empowerment. She has over 5 years of experience working with women and youth in the fields of women’s empowerment, entrepreneurship and leadership. Prior to joining Asala, Karmel served as the project coordinator of a youth-led initiative through which she worked with young people supporting them to be engaged, employable, and active citizens in their communities. Karmel holds a Master’s degree in International Cooperation and Development from the La Sapienza University in Rome and a Bachelor’s degree in English literature from Birzeit University in Palestine.
