The Economic empowerment for Gaza entrepreneurs project is funded by the DanChurchAid and started in 2018 in Gaza Strip to target the youth entrepreneurs between 20 and 35 years old.  The overall objective of this project is that by 2024 income opportunities for youth female and male in the Gaza Strip have been generated through individual business start-ups.

The project was design to target innovative ideas and projects and improved employability skills and employment opportunities for females and males entrepreneurs to become socially and economically active and meet their basic needs. Through this intervention, ASALA will fund 20 qualified beneficiaries who have invocative ideas or innovative projects with cash grants to start-up or develop their income-generating project.

Through the previous interventions in 2018 and 2019, ASALA built up the capacities of 165 beneficiaries in several managerial topics. 55 beneficiaries were able to start their projects through ASALA grants.
